Every year before the Purim Holiday the “Yad LaYeled Hameyuchad” association delivers some 10,000 holiday gift-baskets called “Mishloach Manot” to children with special needs. The baskets each contain sweets, a nice children’s book and toys.
We cooperate with many Israeli companies that consider it a privilege to donate the sweets and presents which are delivered. The deliveries are packed by hundreds of volunteers organized by the association.
These Purim Holiday baskets bring happiness and joy to the children and to their families. The parents tell us with a warm gratitude about the happiness of their children when they receive the surprise deliveries.
Since many children with disabilities do not have many friends, our basket is often the only gift that the child receives for the holiday!
